Svend Sømod (b. 1992) is a Danish artist, born and raised in Frederiksberg, and currently a third year student at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts.
Svend's work is based on chemistry, geometry and electromagnetism. His fondness of the Polish mathematician Wacław Sierpiński is reflected in his work. He uses techniques such as oxidation, laser cutting, developing, dissolving, grinding and electro galvanising.
Svend Sømod has participated at several gallery and museum exhibitions, such as Gallery Christoffer Egelund and Buddenbrooks Gallery etc. Svend participated at the Art Week Copenhagen 2019.
